Raised in Southwest Florida and later serving four years aboard U.S. Coast Guard patrol boats, he has navigated both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic with skill and discipline. His maritime background provides families with confidence in both safety and professionalism.
Now a full-time resident of Southport, North Carolina, Captain Darren considers it an honor to guide families during such an important moment. His approach is calm, respectful, and unhurried — allowing space for reflection while ensuring every detail is handled with care. As a licensed U.S. Coast Guard OUPV Captain, fully insured, he prioritizes safety while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere onboard.
